Orioles | Seong-min Kim scolded in homeland
Baltimore Orioles P Seong-min Kim was suspended by Korea's governing baseball body for signing with the Orioles. Under the suspension enacted by the Korean Baseball Organization, Kim will not be allowed to play or coach baseball in Korea. Kim, a high school sophomore, was seen as the country's top left-handed pitching prospect. It's worth noting that former big leaguers RP Byung-Hyun Kim and Hee Seop Choi had their suspensions dropped and returned to play in the country. Kim's deal was worth $550,000 with the Orioles.
