Athletics | Brandon McCarthy to start opening day
Updating a previous item, Oakland Athletics SP Brandon McCarthy will start on opening day against the Seattle Mariners March 28 in Tokyo, Japan. SP Bartolo Colon will likely start the second game. SPs Tyson Ross, Graham Godfrey, Tom Milone, Jarrod Parker and Brad Peacock will compete for the open spots in the rotation.
