Athletics | Yairo Munoz signs

The Oakland Athletics signed free-agent SS Yairo Munoz (Dominican Republic). Munoz, 16, was plucked from the Dominican Prospect League. The book on Munoz is that he is a "contact hitter who can drive the ball gap to gap, he used his speed to leg out extra bases and he shows instincts to play the game."
