Dolphins | Could transition to 4-3 defense
Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland said the team is considering transitioning to a 4-3 defense next season, and the team currently has the personnel to make such a change successful. Cincinnati Bengals defensive backs coach Kevin Coyle is a leading candidate to become the team's next defensive coordinator. Cincinnati used a 4-3 defense this year. Coyle will interview for the job next week. LB Cameron Wake would play defensive end if the team switched to a 4-3 defensive alignment, with DL Randy Starks likely moving to tackle.
