Indians | Three avoid arbitration

The Cleveland Indians avoided arbitration with SP Justin Masterson and RPs Chris Perez and Joe Smith by signing them to one-year deals Tuesday, Jan. 17. Masterson will make $3.825 million and Perez will earn $4.5 million. Financial terms weren't disclosed for Smith.
