Steelers | Ryan Clark to miss playoff game
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday, Jan. 3, he will not allow FS Ryan Clark to play in the Wild Card playoff game against the Denver Broncos out of fears for Clark's health. Tomlin said he has informed Clark that he won't play and said it was an "easy decision" to make. "I met with him and informed him I am not going to allow him to play in the game," Tomlin said. "It was an easy decision for us. When looking at all of our data we came to the determination he is at more risk so we are not going to play him. It's that simple." Clark has sickle cell trait, a condition that can be problematic in the high altitude of Denver.
