Vikings | Caleb King might be promoted
It is unclear whether the Minnesota Vikings will dress only two halfbacks, RBs Toby Gerhart and Lorenzo Booker, for the Week 17 game against the Chicago Bears. They might promote RB Caleb King from the practice squad. "You never know when it's your time," King said Friday, Dec. 30. "Luckily, I did follow (the veterans). I know the playbook, so if they throw me in, I'm going to be ready." RB Jordan Todman was signed this week off the practice squad of the San Diego Chargers, but it's unlikely he'll be up to speed with the team's playbook to contribute.
