Steelers | Ben Roethlisberger plans to play

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) practiced for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 29, and wants to play in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns. "As long as I can deal with pain, I'll be out there," Roethlisberger said. "I don't want to let the guys down, so I'll do what I can to be out there." Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians is "much more" confident in Roethlisberger starting after seeing him practice Thursday. QB Charlie Batch will start if Roethlisberger doesn't go.
