Lions | Injury Updates
Detroit Lions.com reports coach Marty Mornhinweg said Friday following practice he thinks RB James Stewart (ankle) could play Sunday. "There is a good chance that James could be on the field," he said. Stewart practiced Thursday and Friday with a significant amount of tape on the injured right ankle. It does not appear rookie QB Mike McMahon (foot) can play. If McMahon can't go, Ty Detmer will get his fourth start of the season at quarterback. WR Bert Emanuel (knee) will play, according to the coach. LB Barrett Green (back) looks like he will be OUT. S Lamar Campbell (thigh) will also be a game time decision. DE James Hall (knee) was downgraded to doubtful for the game. Backup CB Chidi Iwuoma (thigh) is expected to play.
