Ravens | Anquan Boldin to undergo surgery

Baltimore Ravens WR Anquan Boldin (knee) will undergo surgery to repair a slight tear in his meniscus and will miss the rest of the regular season. He is expected to be ready for the start of the playoffs.

Fantasy Tip: With Boldin being out for the rest of the season, he is droppable in most leagues. Torrey Smith will become the No. 1 receiver and Lee Evans will also see more targets, but remember, Ray Rice will continue to be the main cog in this offense. This will boost the value of Ed Dickson with the possibility of him becoming Joe Flacco's second option behind Smith. Even though this news helps Dennis Pitta, there are likely other tight ends that are safer for fantasy playoff teams.
