MLB | Red Sox-Cubs compensation still unsettled
The Boston Red Sox's compensation from the Chicago Cubs for executive Theo Epstein is still unsettled, and commissioner Bud Selig didn't enforce a deadline because he decided that the two teams had more pressing issues to take care of. However, the two clubs decided that the Cubs will be prohibited from hiring any executives from the BoSox for a period of three years. The Red Sox aren't expected to receive any more than a mid-level prospect from the Cubs as compensation.
