Red Sox | Two offered arbitration

The Boston Red Sox offered DH David Ortiz and RP Dan Wheeler arbitration. Ortiz is a Type-A free agent, and Wheeler is a Type B. The team declined to offer SP Erik Bedard, OF J.D. Drew, SP Tim Wakefield, RP Trever Miller, C Jason Varitek and OF Conor Jackson arbitration.
