Brewers | Offered Clint Barmes a deal

The Milwaukee Brewers offered SS Clint Barmes a two-year deal before he signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Barmes said Milwaukee wanted to wait because they were trying to re-sign 1B Prince Fielder.
