Dodgers | In market for catcher, infielder

The Los Angeles Dodgers are likely to search for a veteran catcher to pair with C A.J. Ellis in spring training next year after losing C Rod Barajas to the Pittsburgh Pirates. C Tim Federowicz will likely begin the year in the minors. The team will also look for a second baseman and utility infielder, with candidates including re-signing 2Bs Jamey Carroll or Aaron Miles, or going after free-agent 2B Aaron Hill (Diamondbacks), SS Clint Barmes (Astros), OF Jerry Hairston Jr. (Nationals) or 2B Mark Ellis (Rockies).
