Orioles | Allard Baird decides against interviewing for GM job

Boston Red Sox vice president of player personnel and pro scouting Allard Baird has reportedly changed his mind and will not interviewing for the vacant Baltimore Orioles general manager job. He said Friday, Nov. 4, he was tempted by the idea of teaming up with manager Buck Showalter, but didn't want to abandon new Red Sox GM Ben Cherington.
