Seahawks | Walter Thurmond to have surgery

Seattle Seahawks CB Walter Thurmond (ankle) will have ankle surgery. "He's got a pretty torn up ankle, with a high-ankle sprain that's serious and also a fracture," head coach Pete Carroll said. "And so we're going to lose him for the rest of the season unfortunately." Thurmond has a four-to-six month recovery from the surgery.
