Chiefs | Keary Colbert has made key contributions

Kansas City Chiefs WR Keary Colbert has been among the most important contributors through the first five games, and his emergence in the slot has allowed the team to keep RB Dexter McCluster at running back. "We've asked (Colbert) to do a lot of different things," head coach Todd Haley said. "He got into the backfield a couple of times and was cutting off or trying to cut off defensive ends (because of injury to FB Le'Ron McClain). He likes (playing) inside and he has a very good feel for how to play the game inside in that slot position."
