Hendrick | Jimmie Johnson wins at Kansas
Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson won the Sprint Cup race at Kansas Speedway Sunday, Oct. 9, for his first Cup victory since April. He led 197 laps, and the win was the 55th of his career, which moved him into a tie with former driver Rusty Wallace for eighth on the all-time list. Johnson moved to third in the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings behind Roush Fenway Racing driver Carl Edwards and Richard Childress Racing driver Kevin Harvick.
