Browns | Alex Mack fine after appendectomy

Updating a previous injury, Cleveland Browns C Alex Mack (appendix) had an appendectomy Monday, Oct. 3, and everything well well, according to head coach Pat Shurmur. If Mack cannot play in Week 6 after the bye, either OG John Greco or C Steve Vallos would likely replace him. OG Shaun Lauvao has also practiced at center, but he is likely to remain at right guard.
