Panthers | Thomas Davis has surgery

Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis (knee) went in for surgery Wednesday, Sept. 28, to repair his anterior cruciate ligament for the third time in three years. Davis said via Twitter he met with Dr. James Andrews, who indicated Davis could play next season. "And for those of you who have asked, NO way am I going to retire," Davis said.
