Marlins | John Baker ready to catch if needed

Florida Marlins C John Baker (elbow) said Friday, Sept. 16, that he is available behind the plate if needed. Manager Jack McKeon didn't rule out using him for a few innings at some point during the final 12 games. "I'm available, hoping to play, ready to play, but I understand (C John Buck) and (C Brett Hayes) have been here the whole year," Baker said.
