Cardinals | David Freese slumping

St. Louis Cardinals 3B David Freese was benched for the second straight day Wednesday, Sept. 14, and he is 13-for-69 (.188) in his last 19 games. Manager Tony La Russa said Freese is a bit "funky" at the moment. Freese and IF Daniel Descalso are not in a platoon.
