Orioles | Chris Tillman will not return

Baltimore Orioles SP Chris Tillman, who was 3-5 with a 5.52 earned run average in 13 starts this year, will not pitch again until 2012. Tillman threw a combined 138 1/3 innings this season between Baltimore and the minors. "Let him rest from the season and hopefully he'll be ready to come in and compete next year for a spot," Orioles manager Buck Showalter said. "Overall, thinking about all the factors, it was in his best interest to be done with the season."
