Jaguars | David Garrard released

Updating a previous report, the Jacksonville Jaguars released QB David Garrard Tuesday, Sept. 6, a move that will save the team $9 million this year. QB Luke McCown will serve as the starter heading into the season, with QB Blaine Gabbert backing him up.
