Arizona Cardinals RB Alfonso Smith carried a team-high 12 times for 39 yards and a touchdown in the preseason game Friday, Aug. 19, against the Green Bay Packers. Smith's chances of making the team might have improved when rookie RB Ryan Williams (knee) went down with a serious injury.
