New York Jets FB John Conner is firmly entrenched as the starting fullback now that FB Tony Richardson is no longer with the team. Conner led RB Shonn Greene to his three longest runs during the preseason game Monday, Aug. 15. However, the presence of Conner will limit the number of times offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer can use WRs Santonio Holmes, Derrick Mason and Plaxico Burress in the same play.
