Blue Jays | Jon Rauch to DL

The Toronto Blue Jays placed RP Jon Rauch (appendix) on the 15-day disabled list with appendicitis Tuesday, Aug. 16, and also designated RP Trever Miller for assignment. In corresponding moves, the team recalled RPs Wilfredo Ledezma and Rommie Lewis from Triple-A Las Vegas.

Fantasy Tip: Expect Frank Francisco to handle closing duties while Rauch is out. Pick up Frank Frank in all eligible formats. Given how shaky Rauch had been as closer, an effective Francisco could stick in the role even after Rauch returns.
