Steelers | Ike Taylor has surgery
Pittsburgh Steelers CB Ike Taylor (thumb) underwent surgery to fix his broken left thumb Tuesday, Aug. 16, and had a pin placed into his hand as part of the procedure. Taylor thinks he will be able to play in the team's season opener Sept. 11. CB William Gay will likely start in Taylor's place in the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 18.
