Jets | Jeff Cumberland makes bid for roster spot

New York Jets TE Jeff Cumberland had six receptions for 77 yards in the preseason opener Monday, Aug. 15, against the Houston Texans. Cumberland is fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster, and is not expected to have a major role if he does make the team.
