Raiders | Want a new deal for Kamerion Wimbley

The Oakland Raiders need to open room under the salary cap and have approached franchised LB Kamerion Wimbley about a contract extension. He is scheduled to make $11.3 million under terms of the franchise tag, but a long-term deal would allow the team to lessen that hit by spreading a new deal over a number of years.
