Patriots | Tully Banta-Cain undergoes surgery

New England Patriots LB Tully Banta-Cain (abdomen) underwent abdominal surgery Friday, July 22, and is expected to be out for four to five weeks. He did not need surgery after suffering the injury last season but had to have the surgery after tweaking the injury during an offseason workout. His status for Week 1 is uncertain.
