Oakland Athletics manager Bob Melvin will experiment with a six-man pitching rotation for at least one turn before the All-Star break. SP Rich Harden returned to active duty on Friday, July 1, leaving SP's Harden, Josh Outman, Gio Gonzalez, Brandon McCarthy, Trevor Cahill and Guillermo Moscoso all ready to start.
