Cardinals | Took athletic center fielders early

The St. Louis Cardinals took two athletic high school centerfielders in the second and third rounds of the 2011 First Year Player Draft. They took OF Charlie Tilson from Chicago in the second round and OF C.J. McElroy from a Texas high school in the third round. Tilson is committed to the University of Illinois and McElroy is committed to play baseball and football at the University of Houston. McElroy is the son for former RP Chuck McElroy.
