Chicago Cubs OF Lou Montanez was given the start Tuesday, May 24, against the New York Mets. He finished 2-for-4 with a double, walk, two runs scored and RBI in his season debut. Montanez was originally drafted No. 3 overall by the Cubs in 2000.
