Dodgers | John Lindsey working to get on track
Los Angeles Dodgers 1B John Lindsey (calf) has been slowed by a calf injury, and has cost him at the plate for Triple-A Albuquerque. He is batting just .150 (6-for-40) through 12 games. However, he feels he is making progress. "It's coming (along)," Lindsey said. "I've got to remind myself not to make excuses, but it's kind of like spring training and the regular season (combined)." He is 2-for-13 with three RBIs and three walks since coming off the 7-day disabled list earlier this week.
