Padres | Donavan Tate nursing an injury

San Diego Padres OF Donavan Tate (undisclosed) is headed for the disabled list for Class A Fort Wayne after leaving the second game of a doubleheader Monday, April 11, after a collision with OF Everett Williams, reports Bill Center, of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Tate was selected third overall in the 2009 draft. He is expected to miss seven to 10 days. Williams was also forced to leave the game, but there is no report on the extent of his injury.
