Vikings | 2011 starting QB undetermined
Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said the team still is undecided which direction it will go to determine a starting quarterback for next season, whether it be a veteran, a draft choice or QB Joe Webb, according to Charley Walters, of the Pioneer Press. Frazier said he's not leaning any particular way. "It's kind of a matter of who's available," Frazier said. "And we need to find a guy who we can build around. That would be the ideal situation." Frazier added, however, that he does like Webb. "But if Joe Webb can be that guy, it'll be Joe Webb," Frazier said. "We like Joe; we like some of the things he did at the end of last season. We're going to give him a chance to compete for that starting job as well. It's open. We hope to have a young guy, and maybe a veteran guy. But it's going to be open competition."
