Packers | Johnny Jolly remains in jail
Green Bay Packers DL Johnny Jolly, accused of felony possession of a controlled substance, will remain in a Houston jail until at least Wednesday, March 30, when his postponed initial appearance is scheduled, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. A judge Monday, March 28, rejected Jolly's request for bond in the case, which means he'll remain in jail, a court spokeswoman said. Jolly is expected to come with a new lawyer to his court appearance, or the court will appoint a lawyer, the court spokeswoman said. Houston police arrested Jolly Friday, March 25, after allegedly finding 600 grams of codeine in his Cadillac Escalade.
