Yankees | Pedro Feliciano could begin season on DL
New York Yankees RP Pedro Feliciano (shoulder) is expected to open the regular season on the disabled list, according to Wallace Matthews of ESPNNewYork.com. Manager Joe Girardi said he attempted to play catch Sunday, March 27, but it didn't go well. "It's pretty hard to think he would start with us," Girardi said. RPs Luis Ayala, Mark Prior and Steve Garrison are among the options to replace Feliciano if he starts the year on the DL.
