Bears | Lovie Smith not in favor of rule change

Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith is not in favor of the rule that NFL owners passed Tuesday, March 22, that moves kickoffs up to the 35-yard line beginning next season, according to ESPNChicago.com's Michael Wright. Touchbacks will remain at the 20-yard line. "You just wonder how did we get to this point?" Smith said before the rule passed. "First off, I can't believe we're really talking about it, the most exciting play in football. You would think we would want to keep that in."
