Yankees | Six players optioned Wednesday
The New York Yankees optioned six players to the minor leagues Wednesday, March 16, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch. P Andrew Brackman went to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, as well as IF's Brandon Laird and Kevin Russo, and OF Melky Mesa. P's Steve Garrison and Ryan Pope were optioned to Double-A Trenton.
