Wofford SS Tommy Irvin worked out in front of 13 NFL teams during a workout at his school Thursday, March 10. He measured 6-foot-4, 209 pounds with a 30 1/4-inch arm, a 9 3/8-inch hand, a 72 1/2-inch wingspan, benched 20 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press, had a vertical of 33 1/2 inches, a broad jump of 10-feet 1/8 inches, ran a 4.67 and 4.73-second 40-yard dash, a 3.96 and 4.17-second short shuttle and a 6.92 second three-cone drill. Teams in attendance included the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots. He also held a private workout with the Arizona Cardinals Friday, March 11.
