Texans | Vonta Leach had surgery

Houston Texans impending free-agent FB Vonta Leach (knee) had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Feb. 8, according to Mark Berman, of Fox 26 Houston. Leach said he began running Monday, Feb. 28, with only minimal swelling and no pain. "I had to get my knee scoped," Leach said. "It bothered me all year. I had to get my knee drained and take shots six times during the season so I could play. Before most of the games it would be swollen like a softball." Leach said he hurt his knee during the second game of the season.
