Panthers | Will put RFA tender on Charles Johnson

The Carolina Panthers will put a restricted free-agent tender on impending free-agent DE Charles Johnson, sources told Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald. Under the old collective bargaining agreement, Williams would be considered an unrestricted free agent but is considered a restricted free agent under the current rules.
