St. Louis Cardinals 2B Daniel Descalso has been working out at second and third base this spring, and the team may have more of a need for him at third base now that 3B Nick Punto (hernia) is injured, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Derrick Goold. 3B Ramon Vazquez's role could also be increased.
