Bears | Nearing contract extension for Lovie Smith

There might be a new contract for Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith within the next two weeks, according to John Mullin, of CSNChicago.com. The deal is expected to add two years and give Smith a salary in the range of $5.5 million for 2011, up from $4.8 million in 2010.
