Indians | Backup catcher fight likely to last a while

Cleveland Indians manager Manny Acta said Tuesday, Feb. 22, that the battle for the backup catcher job is not likely to be decided until the final days of camp, reports Jordan Bastian, of MLB.com. Cs Juan Apodaca, Luke Carlin, Lou Marson and Paul Phillips are vying for the No. 2 job behind starter C Carlos Santana.
