Diamondbacks | Kevin Mulvey getting extension back

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Kevin Mulvey (elbow) almost has complete extension of his elbow back after undergoing surgery to have bone chips removed from his elbow last year, according to The Arizona Republic's Nick Piecoro. "That's your release point," Mulvey said. "If you're releasing the ball at 100 percent as opposed to 75 percent, if you're out here in front and get full extension, that's a little different. You'll probably get a little bit more velocity, a little bit more movement. But I'm not saying I'm all of a sudden going to be throwing 100 mph. Hopefully, I can get a little bit more extension and pitch better."
