The Denver Broncos were close to a four-year extension with impending free-agent CB Champ Bailey that would have been worth more than $40 million, but the Broncos pulled back the offer because they were concerned about Bailey's age as well as the labor uncertainty, reports Jeff Legwold, of The Denver Post.
