Yankees | Six infielders competing for two roster spots

New York Yankees IFs Ronnie Belliard, Eric Chavez, Brandon Laird, Eduardo Nunez, Ramiro Pena and Kevin Russo will compete for two utility infielder spots on the 25-man roster during spring training, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com. It is believed that one of the spots will go to either Nunez or Pena because they are the only two players capable of playing shortstop.
